T-shirts: Cool, or absolute failure?

"We *can* be the generation that no longer accepts that an accident of latitude determines whether a child lives or dies--but *will* we be that generation?"
--Bono, Foreword to "The End of Poverty" by Jeffrey D. Sachs

I created this site to spread the word about this project so that to get some help from fellow people engaged in their community.
Also, I wanted to test how active TIG really is. Prove it to me! =]

Here is a summary of going-ons:
Spring 2008- I became obsessed with how few people knew about the Millennium Development Goals. I may have discovered the MDGs from www.freerice.org
Summer 2008- Reading The End of Poverty really motivated me. I screenprinted 50 shirts, hoping people will wear them to raise awareness.
Sept. 7, 2008- I've sold ~10 shirts just word-of-mouth. Schoolwork has been killer but I aim to devote more time to this as I really believe in it.

To do:
Aggressively market at my school- tv, bulletin board, newspaper, everything.
Contact principal for support
Contact my friends at other schools to begin marketing
Create a set of goals, in terms of people reached
Add more FAQ about MDGs, poverty, etc. to website

If anyone needs tips on home screen-printing shirts, please do ask!
